There's been a lot of additions in amD recently and the documentation has not kept up. it would be nice to have instructions for future developers and users. Specifically, removing the (now useless) information about Shuttle from the docs, updating local setup instructions and code snippet information in CONTRIBUTING.md and adding more details about new features such as logging and root queries.
