Sending sysex messages to control "Function Parameters" in group 2 (documented in https://github.com/asb2m10/dexed/blob/master/Documentation/sysex-format.txt),
Dexed reacts as for a group 1 sysex message.

exemple :

Sysex message "AFTERTOUCH RANGE" (groupe 2)
F0 43 10 08 4C 01 F7

triggers :
F0 43 10 00 4C 01 F7 "OP3 OSC RATE SCALE" (groupe 1)

expected behavior

sysex messages from "Function Parameters" on group 2 do not trigger parameters in group 1
sysex messages from group 2 control "Function Parameters" (mode monophonic, controller..)

Dexed 1.9.8-1, Linux Manjaro
