After v4.21.2 I can't use Cake Wallet because of interface is inaccesible.
After launching bin app it asking my wallet password, i'm trying to enter the password and the app freezes, then the app is crashing.
I've tried flatpak and binaries, they have the same behavior

The last working version is 4.21.0

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. open cake_wallet v4.22.1_Linux
  2. Try to enter password
  3. Get freeze
  4. Crash

Expected behavior
Enter password, press unlock, get acces to wallet

Platform:

  • OS: Linux Mint 21.3, kernel 6.8.0, nvidia driver 470.256.02.0
  • Cake Wallet Version: 4.22.1 binaries/flatpak

PS. No any errors in terminal after crash

I have the same issue with the AUR from Manjaro after the most recent update.

I think it is related to the display server. It seems to happen on X display manager but not on Wayland. Can someone (dis)confirm?

On Mint 22.1 Cinnamon and nVidia with the same issue.
If I type the password in the input field and do nothing else but watch nothing happening for 30 seconds, the password gets filled in.
The issue persists with other input fields after the wallet unlocks.
Cake version 4.24

I believe this is an issue with Flutter (the library Cake uses).
See flutter#153560.
I have encountered the same behavior with Localsend which also uses Flutter. localsend#2084

Perhaps the workaround with the wrapper can be utilized for now?
Turning off the virtual keyboard fixed it for me for the time being.
