Current layout works fine for a handful of MIDI devices.
However if one has 10-20-30 MIDI devices, the horizontal scrolling layout becomes very ineffective.
I would therefore propose alternative grid based layout, where the devices columns keep the current width, but only the number of columns that fit the current window size is displayed and additional devices are placed on next rows, each row having a height of few hundreds pixels.
Probably two or three heights would be useful to toggle between as well. Nice to have.
