Yeah, this seems like a good option and it's on the plan.

While I am prioritizing on doing quick/easy fixes (since I'm maintaining this on my free time), could you tell me a bit more on how your intended usage would be like?

More specifically, how would you like to use it after you do the pip install command?

In my mind, the user workflow would be like:

  1. do pip install edgar-crawler
  2. navigate to a folder and create the configuration file (config.json)
  3. in that folder, do edgar-crawler --download_filings
  4. in that folder, do edgar-crawler --extract_items
