The documentation says isoNorm function applies DESeq2::rlog() function but the code applies DESeq2::varianceStabilizingTransformation() function instead:

The normalization uses `rlog` from `r Biocpkg("DESeq2")` package and

rld <- varianceStabilizingTransformation(dds, blind=FALSE)
