The open-editor flat list has very limited usability when a large number of file is open, because it is all flat and un-organized.
It would become incredibly powerful if we could have a Tree View in the open editors. This is because you would basically retain the tree view of your Explorer, but only focusing on the files you care about / are working on at the moment.
Please consider. I have actually always hidden the Open Editors pane because it's basically useless when working on large code bases. Using a tree view, it would become incredibly powerful.
