Who am I, and where do I come from?

Hey there! I'm Chris, a self-taught software developer with a passion for C++ development. I used to dabble in Android app development with the language of Java, but nowadays, I'm way more into making software for desktops and laptops. Not only that, but I live in Germany, but the exact location? Yeah... that's staying private, since I like Privacy and Security itself. In addition, I also like customizing any type of Software to my likings, making these three topics into my SPC principle, making it into

  • Securing the application, making Security a strong point
  • Refuse to collect any data, respecting Privacy in the process
  • Allowing the Customization of software

What am I working on?

As of now, I am focused on whatever catches my interest, whether it is rewriting Osintgram into OsintgramCXX to enhance the stability of such tools, in case such tools no longer get any support anymore. At times, I just peek at any existing tools and just think that I could rewrite it with either less bloat or have it as an Open-Source thing, making Trello an example, in which I planned to make TRLOPP. In other words, I look for something fun and challenging, keeping things flexible and keeping myself curious, as always.

On the professional side, I'm also in a full-time software development apprenticeship since August 1st of 2023. I won't say much due to the duty of confidentiality and the usual rules, but I decided to make programming itself into a profession. On the other hand, this brand, as BC100Dev, will also turn into a sole proprietorship, since I want to make money out of certain closed-source tools I may or may not make (no spoilers 🤫)

Why sponsorship matters

Sponsorships, or donations in general, help me keep doing on what I love itself: Programming and Coding. I live alone, so even a small donation helps me with life in general, even outside of development work. When I am able to, I plan to give back by donating to causes like charities I believe in.

Whether you want to sponsor / donate or not, just know that I appreciate you checking out my work. Your support, even if it is just following along, means a lot to me.
