Detailed description

This morning I got two notifications from a bell subscription (I activated the 🔔).
One was completely empty in the notification list but also within tusky.

When I tapped on the notification in Tusky, I even got directed to a random profile.

Now after a few hours, the notification looks like this:

Image

Tapping on it doesn't do anything. I assume the post was deleted

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Follow and activate bell for a profile
  2. Followed profile creates a post
  3. Post gets deleted
  4. Notification appears empty

Debug information

Tusky 18.0 from F-Droid
Pixel 7 with Android 15

Now it looks the same as initially:

Hmm very weird. Seems like Mastodon sends a notification without post attached and Tusky doesn't handle that nicely. But I fail to reproduce that, when I delete a post the whole notification goes away 🤔

Definitely weird, it's the first time it happened for me.

My server is on 4.3.6

I'm fine with closing it, thanks for looking into this so quickly.
