Problem in rules

I trying to add rules in order to establish gender of a pronoun from the verb in a sentence. For example:

वह एक गेंद के साथ खेलता है| translates to He plays with a ball.
वह एक गेंद के साथ खेलती है| translates to She plays with a ball.

it only depends on the verb part खेल how the gender of the pronoun will be determined.

I just want to know how to tackle this problem. Should this be tackled in the interchunk stage or the chunker stage. How to make chunks in order to tackle this effectively?
