Farms are created by building on grass tiles, and they cost 8 wood. The more farms you have, the more citizens you get.
Sawmills are created by building on forest tiles, and they cost 5 wood. The more sawmills you have, the more wood you get.
Mineshafts are created by building on mountain tiles, and they cost 15 wood and 5 gold. The more mineshafts you have, the more gold you earn.
Ships are created by building on water tiles, and they cost 25 wood. Ships increase your expansion area, allowing you to settle across water.
Sand is a useless tile.
Build on grass outside the border and inside the expansion zone. To settle, the nearest town must have at least 3 citizens. The first town costs 15 wood, and that price increases as the number of settlements increase.
Each civilization gets a score at the end of the game. The civilization with the highest score wins. You can get points for:
Each Town is worth 3 points.
1 point per citizen.
Each gold is worth 10 points.
