Hi there 👋

I'm Dina. A multi-disciplinary QA Engineer, with over 7 years of experience in software testing. Passionate about quality engineering, automation, and shift-left approach. I’m also a content creation. A total of 33K subscribers across all platforms.

I have built out and maintained automation frameworks from the ground up in companies without existing infrastructure.

For example, in 2019-2021 I built out an API automation solution for an Enterprise VoIP telephony service, scenarios included authentication, grouping and sequential test execution with Postman + JavaScript. In 2021-2024 I was in charge of full-cycle and automation at Adalo, Inc. where I built out automation from scratch using Puppeteer + Jest TypeScript before successfully migrating the project from Puppeteer to Playwright.

I work best in teams that value collaboration, autonomy, and a quality-first mindset—keeping things efficient, flexible, and fun to build together. My values include:

  • Cross-functional communication. As a QA Engineer, I thrive in environments where people communicate cross-functionally. Being able to receive and provide feedback at all stages of product development.

  • Autonomy. By autonomy I mean being able to debug code, being able to set up and maintain CI/CD workflows or being able to deploy changes to test environments without having to distract engineers from their work.

  • Shift-left approach. I foster a culture of quality, collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams to embed quality at every stage of development, rather than treating it as a last-minute task.

  • Iterations and frequent feedback. I embrace iterative culture in my work. Before picking an approach or a tool, I build out proof-on-concept to test it in real life conditions and receive feedback from the team.

  • Balance. I balance pragmatism with efficiency to keep things moving forward by mixing the context-driven testing and the holistic testing approaches with modern tools and automation.

  • Asynchronous collaboration. Asynchronous collaboration helps teams minimize face-to-face call times while also maximizing focused work time and preventing knowledge silos.

🔭 I’m currently looking to join new projects that include JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer, Github CI/CD, Postman API-automation
